Black Female Officer Kelly King defends Sgt Crowley.

I came across this video on Booker Rising. This video definitely makes Obama and Gates look very petty in their regards to invoking race into Mr. Gate's arrest. The black female officer is Kelly King of the Cambridge Police Department. I was shocked that CNN actually interviewed her. She sounded very impassioned in her support of Sgt. Crowley. Obama want to talk on about a "teachable moment", the ultimate teachable moment for people like Henry Gates, Barack Obama and others is at the 58 second mark in the video. When I see people like Gates and Obama, I see them as a representation of everything that is wrong in America regarding race relations. Kelly King represents what is right about race relations in our country. I'm not just saying this, because she said she wasn't voting for Obama again. I had to laugh at that one myself.

A very touching show of support...

Ms. King obviously believes what Crowley has stated and what he says in his Police report. I do agree with her when says "that we need to look at, and weigh all the evidence." At this time the only accusations that have proven discrepancies has come from Sgt. Crowley and Officer Figueroa.

Crowley wrote in his report that he was told that there were two Black men wearing backpacks. The dispatcher never said that, and Ms. Whalen never said that in her 911 call. Ms. Whalen's lawyer denies that Whalen told Crowley any such thing.

Officer Figueroa wrote that he heard Gates tell Crowley "NO I WILL NOT" give you my information, when the radio dispatch shows that Gates had given his identification to Crowley within "30 seconds" of his encounter with Gates, and moments "BEFORE" Figueroa arrived.

Don't forget that Sgt Lashley also validated and supported Sgt Crowley's decision to arrest Gates allen. I'd just thought I would remind you. In my ultimate validation. I'll post the just released 911 call from the neighbor. I told you allen I was a great judge of character, and once again it looks like I was right about Gates after all.

p allen "Crowley wrote in his report that he was told that there were two Black men wearing backpacks"

He obviously mistaked suitcases of backpacks. It really doesn't matter. The core complaint by Skip Gates was that he was "racially profiled", The 911 call completely vindicates not only Sgt Crowley, it also vindicates the person who made the call in the first place allen. I post the story tomorrow. I want to see you backtrack. lol

Mistake?? Hah! So finally you're admitting that Sgt Crowley made a "mistake"! See how easy that was Tyrone.

Police work is very tedious work. Once an Officer makes a mistake he has two choices. One, admit the mistake and attempt to correct it. Or two, attempt to cover it up with lies and deceit, which in turn, ultimately leads to more lies and deceit.

Why did Crowley write in his report "2 Blacks and Backpacks" is what I'd like to know...

And, the call "vindicates" Ms. Whalen from what? Go back and listen to Prof. Gates response to Gayle King from 3 days ago. Gates says; "my neighbor did the right thing...I'm glad she called 911. I have many valuable items in my home. I'd really like to thank her!"

Gates never implied that Ms. Whalen did anything wrong. So how does the 911 tape vindicate Crowley of anything. Not one thing in the 911 tape substantiates anything written in Crowleys report...other than he was there!

Gates admitted he was angry and yelling, and he admitted he accused Crowley of being racist. Yet during Crowley's transmissions you can only hear another voice speaking, not yelling, other than Crowley's voice.

You don't hear "yo' mama" at any time. The tape confirms Gates positively identified himself within the first "30 seconds" of Crowley's initial transmission from meeting Gates at his front door. It appears almost 99% certain that no one other than Crowley characterized the potential suspects as "Black" and carrying "Backpacks." And the 911 tape confirms that Figueroa arrived after Crowley had positively I.D.'d Prof. Gates!!!

CB;"I want to see you backtrack. lol".

I'll most certainly back track if there's "positive evidence" that suggests Gates did something that warrants being arrested.

AS I SAID, PROFESSOR GATES WAS ARRESTED FOR YELLING AT A POLICEMAN IN HIS OWN HOME!!

THAT IS STUPID!!!!

Officer Kelly should be applauded for being honest. Gates is a pure black racist and a low lifed profane liar. Rap singers calling black women are not cultural but low life men who see black women as dogs. I have no respect for any man who does that. Mothers are not all bad and not all in love with bad rap singers. Money is the main reason, and as long as black singers use profanity to make money at the expense of their women folk, is that ok. I say no way. As a black woman who is proud of being a black American, i say no to men who disrepect black women or any woman. No wonder our men join a religion that has no respect for women. Muhammad bin Abdallah called black men and women ugly nappy headed pug nosed slaves and today Africans are called Takruni, the lowest word in the Arabic language, yet not one black man say a word. Slavery is rampant among black women and black men say nothing. Arabs and other arabic men do the same thing as rap singers do degrade black women. I am so sick of black men like gates and others who pretend to hate whites so much and then get a white woman as soon as they can to throw in the faces of the black women. Black Muslims are sending overseas for white Muslim women as they are not allowed to marry white Muslims overseas, just in the West. A black Muslim woman killed her man for marrying a white Muslim woman with her money in Pa. Black women who convert to Islam really have no leg to stand on as the religion approves of marrying as many wives as the man wants and wives get one they share.

This is america and I fought to free our black children from tyranny of racism, only for black men to help the KKK and Aryan Brotherhood and the Muslim Brotherhood to send us back to slavery as Al Fawzan said Muslim will after the take over of America. First they plan to destroy the Constitution and replace it with Sharia Law/communism. Allen will return to slavery along with Obama and Gates. they will have no one to stop it, Maybe they love slavery.

Kelly King is like me. We don't have "race on the brain 24/7 365". I'm thinking about creating a new terminology of blacks that are oversensitive on perceived racism. I think I will call it "BRODS". That's short for

"Black Racial Oversensitivity Disorder Syndrome".

I'll have to look into this some more. Since I can't make any money with it. Feel free to use the terminology, lol.

Agreed, Kelly King and Jim Crowley are post racial, just doing what is right and they don't have race on their brains 24/7 and see everything as a racial slight.

That's because neither of them attended Professor Gates Harvard classes where he brainwashes his students into thinking like him: "If the police are at my house it must be because I am black! I have to yell at them and be obnoxious and uncooperative to teach them a lesson!"

This is wrong. Obama is right, this is a teachable moment...FOR OBAMA and GATES!!!

I said it would only be a matter of time before ignorant closed minded black and white liberals would attack Officer King as being a "sellout" for defending Sgt. Crowley. I was on Youtube responding to some comments, and I came the user calling himself "Thuggiinbundles". These are articulate venom he said about Officer Kelly

Thugginbundles "SELLOUT!!!!!!!!!! She's not going to vote for Obama again over one statement he made? Keep up the minstrel show u sellout house nigga."

I'll say it again. Liberals for the most part do not like IDEOLOGICAL DIVERSITY AMMONG NON WHITE GROUPS, Officer King has every right to vote for or not to vote for whoever she pleases. I said she was going to be attacked. When blacks and other racial groups "know their roles", the hate isn't directed at them. So even though she voted for Obama, NOW she is being called a "minstrel" and "house nigga". I can only imagine what Sgt. Lashley is being called.

Kelly King comes from a Historic American Family that has worked for racial equity for generations. She is a direct descendant of Mary McCleod Bethune and niece of the late Singer/Humanitarian/Negro Spiritual Historian Joe Carter (http://speakingoffaith.publicradio.org/programs/joecarter/). She is a brilliant woman and if she says that this wasn't racial profiling, then it wasn't racial profiling.

It is important to remember that these comments were taped before Obama took any steps to reconcile with Crowley or take responsiblity for his role in igniting racial tension at the expense of a police officer who spearheaded the efforts in Cambridge to create racial profiling prohibitions and policies. Officer King spoke in a very specific context and may have changed her mind about Obama since her comments. Either way that is her right as a Free American.

She carries on the good work of her family in racial reconciliation as a police officer- challenging America to judge a man by his actions and character rather than the color of his skin- and she applied these treasured American and family principles both to Crowley and Obama alike.

What is most disappointing is that the nation is focused on whether or not she will vote for Obama again- and we have lost sight of everything else Officer King spoke about which inspires all of us to the noble goals of racial reconciliation.

The attacks from the Black Community and Black Media that abound against her are misplaced This misplaced priority is shared with the White Media- namely the primary concern has been over her dissatisfaction with Obama and the possiblity that she may not vote for him again- while ignoring the true nature of her comments and motivation. Who she may vote for is the very least of what she communicated.

To ignore the great ideals of the brotherhood and sisterhood of humankind she models for us and calls us to makes us a part of the problem, not the solution to racial tensions in America.

Chris, thank you for your thoughtful addition to the dialog. I had no idea that Kelly King cames from such a Historic American Family, nor did I know of her and her families work racial equity for generations. It is interesting background on her but what I was really impressed with was her post-racial attitude, simply standing up for what is right and good, instead of the rush to judgment, race baiting and racial preferences we see with Gates and Obama. I agree, she is a brilliant woman and if she says that this wasn't racial profiling, then it wasn't racial profiling. Although, when we heard from Sergeant Crowley that it wasn’t racial profiling, and we learned the history of racial agitation by Henry Gates, we already knew that. What was heartening was to see a diverse group of Americans standing up for MLK’s ideal, and calling out Gates and Obama and Patrick for not following that ideal.

I think if anything, Obama’s recent “steps” to cover his role in igniting racial tension have fallen flat and will cause more like Kelly King to avoid voting for him in the future. The arrogance of jumping to conclusions based on race, and supporting the known race baiter at Harvard, then refusing to apologize, THEN saying we need to have a few beers to reduce tensions is beyond the pale.

Obama and Gates INCREASED racial tensions, so maybe THEY should have a beer to discuss how they can do better next time, and how best to apologize to Crowley, King and others. Obama’s attempt to “rise above it all” and “foster better relations” falls flat in the wake of his wrong-headed racial fire stoking.

I agree, Kelly King and Jim Crowley are challenging America to judge a man by his actions and character rather than the color of his skin- I only wish Obama applied these treasured American and family principles to this incident.

What is most encouraging is that the nation is focused on not only the noble goals of racial reconciliation that Kelly King and Jim Crowley promote, but that we are also at the same time focused on whether or not we should vote for Obama again. We cannot lose sight of everything else Obama has lied about…that he would be transparent (then forced through a big spending pork bill in the middle of the night), that the stimulus would keep unemployment below 8% (now it has gone to 9.5 and going to double digits), that he would not raise any taxes on lower income people (then he put through many taxes like cigarette tax and trying to force through a Cap and Tax bill that would raise taxes on everyone who uses energy or buys products that use energy). He also said it was “above his pay grade” to decide when life begins, even though science tells us it is at conception, then he went on to force laws through that force Christians to sell abortion drugs, and force Christians to pay higher taxes for fund more abortions, even in foreign countries.

The attacks from the Black Community and Black Media that abound against her are misplaced but expected. Just look what they did to Clarence Thomas! They are more concerned with protecting liberalism than they are protecting blacks. Although there is no so-called “White Media”, the American post-racial media acknowledged and celebrated the true nature of her comments and motivation, while at the same time also celebrated her dissatisfaction with Obama and the possibility that she may not vote for him again. That was an important step as Americans of every race and color begin to unmask Obama and understand his true nature and how much he has already hurt America. We don’t want another election where uninformed people vote in another Obama, see www.youtube.com/watch?v=mm1KOBMg1Y8

So while I agree that Kelly King, Jim Crowley, Rush Limbaugh, Thomas Sowell, Michele Malkin, Sean Hannity, Walter Williams, Mark Levin and most other post-racial Americans agree on the great ideals of the brotherhood and sisterhood of humankind, I also agree that Obama and liberalism, and the racial agitation of Henry Gates is part of the problem, not the solution to racial tensions in America.

I was not touched by Ms. Kings support. I was hurt by her willingness to abandon the first black president of the united states and a black educator so quickly. I wonder if she would have stood up for a black male officer in the same manner. Perhaps she should have waited to all the evidence was in before taking any stand. I am withholding judgment unit I understand why he was arrested in his house after showing ID.

someone said "I was not touched by Ms. Kings support. I was hurt by her willingness to abandon the first black president of the united states and a black educator so quickly."

This is the kind of racism that the post-racial Kelly King, Leon Lashley and Jim Crowley teach against in their classes. When the facts are clear, as they are in this case, when a diverse group of police officers showed up risking their lives responding to a 911 call, and they are attacked by a racial ranter like Gates, he deserved to be arrested for disorderly conduct. Then when the president chimed in with no facts and called the police names, then sided with the race baiter, it only added fuel to the fire.

Kelly King did not "abandon the first black president". He abandoned HER with his racial bias and name calling of police. He needs to apologize.

I do not wonder if Kelly King would have stood up for a black male officer in the same manner. She has and she will, when they are right. If a rouge white or black cop does something wrong, she will not stand up for them.

I wish people would get beyond race like obviously Kelly King, Leon Lashley and Jim Crowley have done.

Jackiebbland then goes on to insult the families and the marital fidelity of the professional officers Jim Crowley and Kelly King.

This is the kind of insidious racism we are still fighting... when a man and a woman show professional respect, and respect for doing what is right, some will immediately go to the gutter and insinuate that there must be something between then.

This is the kind of sick racism that Sergeant Crowley, Seargent Leon Lashley, and Officer Kelly King teach against in their courses to avoid racial profiling.

It looks like Jackiebbland should sign up for the next course, maybe this is a teachable moment for her as well as Gates and Obama.

Wouldn't a "brilliant" person be a
physician, lawyer, scientist, professor--some high paying career?

It's very easy to throw adjectives around, but just because you call someone something doesn't make them so. I, too, am a descendant

The question asked was "how close are Officers Crawley and Officer King"? You obviously took it to the gutter. Is there something
more than a professional relationship between them? You took it further than was intended-so what's up? You know them both personally and what they teach in their class, don't you?

anonymous said "What will ONE VOTE do to Obama? For every one Kelly King who uses this incident to find fault with President Obama there are ten new voters who like both THE MAN and HIS POLICIES."

But the facts and the polls don't bear this out. Obama'a approval numbers are TANKING as more and more Kelly Kings are beginning to realize that Obama is not who he said he was.

Then anonymous said "She is a little TOO emotionally involved in his incident for my comfort and I'm a woman."

Obviously this person did not view the video of the unemotional, fact driven, dedicated police officer and post-racial great American, Kelly King.
I think the only one in this whole incident who let their emotions rule is Henry Gates. The black/white/Hispanic cops bravely responded to the 911 call and asked for his ID. He let his racist feelings and emotions get the better of him and flew off into a racial rant and tirade. He continued this after he was warned by the police that it would result in a disorderly conduct charge...so they followed through with the law.

Then Obama called those who followed the law "stupid" and sided with the racial ranter. Obama has yet to apologize for that.

Obama and Gates should take one of the course Sergeant Crowley offers on how to avoid racial profiling. This is a teachable moment for Gates and Obama.

Loyal Obama suporters still stand with him. People who did not vote for Obama to begin with are still pulling at straws and wishing and praying that his support falters.
But not so, so put your confidence elsewhere. It's okay that his honeymoon period is over. The economy is taking a turn for the better and very soon people will forget what some of you hope will
change public opinion. The truth will come out soon on Kelly King.
So while you are waiting for Obama's polls to slip look out the other eye for follow up on just who
she is and why she was so very upset with the President about a co-worker.

has Obama or Gates apologized yet for their racist remarks and their name-calling of black, white and Hispanic police officers, calling them "stupid"?

Has Gates apologized for his racial profiling of the police officers, and his outrageous racial rant?

Has Obama apologized yet for his calling police officers "stupid" and then not apologizing for it? Has Obama apologized for his knee-jerk racial statements supporting the racial ranter and opposing the black, white and Hispanic police officers who only did their job by the book?

Just because Obama and Gates sloshed back some alcohol, that does not get them off the hook for their racism and name-calling.
