Congressman Allen West educated a Muslim from CAIR about the religion of peace

Congressman Allen West is without a doubt a rising star within the conservative movement. He has a strong understanding of the constitution, and he has a great command articulating his thoughts. I said before that I would pay money to see a one night only debate between Allen West and Barack Obama. It wouldn't be pretty for Obama for obvious reasons. Awhile back, Allen made some comments about Islam and the Koran that rubbed the Islamic advocacy group CAIR "Council on American-Islamic Relations" the wrong way. West didn't say anything derogatory about Islam, he merely presented the facts about the faith and some of the people who practice it. Well anyways, the other day a member of CAIR with his Koran in hand decided to show up at an event where congressman West was speaking in an attempt to try and embarrass him. Lets just say that the person from CAIR picked the wrong person to try and wage a verbal jihad against.

A few weeks prior, Congressman West was on the the Lawrence O'Donnell show on MSNBC. Allen had Lawrence on the defensive throughout the entire interview over recent comments Allen made about Obama. It appeared that Lawrence was actually offended, and he asked West to apologize. Congressman Allen West is definitely the real deal!!!

My sentiments exactly, Tyrone. It would be such a sheer delight, watching the marginally-talented, Obama, stuttering and sweating away, without the aid of his trusty teleprompter present, in a heated, televised battle, against the truly qualified and highly superior, Mr. West.
Liberals never cease to amaze me, as they'll will make any unecessary attempt, to publically entrap conservatives, by distorting the truth. This foolish Democrat plant, was under the impression, that a minority politician, couldn't possibly make a critical judgement, publically, against another "disenfranchised" minority group. Thank God, Mr. West isn't molded in the moderately-playing-it-safe trappings of the current conservative Republican network. Like Chris Christie, Mr. West has a backbone, and isn't willing to play it safe, while invoking the silliness of the liberals' idea of "civil discourse"! This is the kind of individual who can take on the issues head on, while publically putting the liberal-Democrat-media establishment to shame. No doubt, he wont be invited on the Fox news channel anytime soon. Bill O'Reilly is too busy trying figure out what he and his ratings-champion station can do to improve their network, by the ill-advice of his new buddy, Barack Obama. Sean Hannity on the other hand, will be spending the next 2 years, peddling the lukewarm Newt Gingrich, as the 2012, GOP nominee. (Renee).

Chris Christie: did shut off tax payer funding to Planned Parenthood, on the record is pro-life...it is just a question on what this means and I haven't had the time to thoroughly research it but let's not be so quick to think he is a fiscal but not social conservative.

Yes, Representative West serves this country now, clearly radical Islam is something to be very very, like very time 100 times something to be cautious of. I may have mentioned, I have a Muslim buddy from Egypt, guy is a very fine man, likes the Israelis over there, sees the Radicals as being the troublemakers, he prays with his Koran but doesn't go to the Muslim Center here because they are too cliquish and I think that means radical. If one sees pictures of Egypt in the 1950s, there women looked like the women in the US, now so many wear the head garb and all that.

No doubt at all Sojournerlove, West could not only have beaten Obama, he would have made one great president. Allen West is confident and presents himself as a person worthy of respect unlike Barry.

I wasn't quick to jump down Christie's throat, on the contrary. When he first was elected, I was one of his biggest supporters. It was only when his views on certain issues started to surface that I started to pause. It doesn't really matter though right now. Now way is Christie going to run in 2012. If Obama is beaten "which I pray with all my humanly might that he is" Christie wouldn't be a presidential thought until at the least 2020. I think Christie is light years better then McCain, and I believe Christie could have beaten Obama, because Christie wouldn't have had no problem attacking Obama.

Mr Tent Trash "this guys is on his game"

I know the left is keeping an extremely close eye on West. If they feel that he is gaining traction on a national level, they are going to try and "palinize" him 10 times worse then they have Sarah Palin.

West needs to consider personal safety too. In Holland a controversial politician was knocked off and a few Muslim extremists have been caught here in the USA, they are radicals. As West's message becomes better known, you just don't know. I'm sure such possibilities are remote. Sometimes what I read here makes me think he writes here.

I had to get on a better computer and watch these West videos. He certainly is right on. Articles on Brigitte Gabriel are real insightful too and compliment what Rep. West says well.
