Memorial Day isn't about cookouts, shopping sales and going to the beach.

Memorial Day is about something more, a lot more. See through the commercialization of Memorial Day, and understand this day for what it is truly about. It's about paying respect and never forgetting those who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our country and it's interests around the world.

Excellent post Tyrone. I joined the Navy during the Vietnam war. And, by the way we did not need any diversity training. We were all Americans.

Thank you, and to all those who have served.
