Chris Matthews sings the praises of his "new " tingle Michelle Bachmann?!

Some things in life simply aren't suppose to happen. Liberals aren't suppose to be intelligent, and they definitely aren't suppose to like true conservatives. Chris Matthews was a panelist on the liberal racist Bill Maher show yesterday. The topic of Michelle Bachmann came up, and Chris Matthews said something about Michelle that might have caught people off guard.

Chris Matthews "Michelle Bachman is REAL"
Chris Matthews "She's my HERO"
Chris Matthews "She's going all the way"

Did Chris Matthews have a change of heart about Michelle Bachmann? Has Chris Matthews seen the light? Or could there be another reason for the positive tone towards Bachmann?

I've seen the news coverage of Michelle Bachmann after the New Hampshire debate. Most of the news about Bachman has been "POSITIVE".

So why would liberals in the media write positive stories on a women who is ideologically opposed to everything they stand for?

The answer is obvious. Michelle Bachmann isn't Sarah Palin. It's not that the media likes Bachmann, that's far from the case. The media feels that if they can pump up Bachmann as being the alternative to Palin and it catches on, it would put a death nail into any chances of Palin announcing a 2012 bid within the next few weeks. The admiration Chris showed towards Bachmann on Maher's show was touching but fake.

Chris called his now new tingle Michelle Bachmann a "balloon head" and much worse back in January of this year.

Is Chris banking on people having short term memories that can't span beyond "five months"? Chris Matthews is only fooling people who can easily be fooled in the first place. Others like myself aren't buying it.

Michelle Bachmann is the number two most hated conservative female in the country. I've already mentioned part of the reason for the 180 degree flip by the media on Bachmann. The other part is that they believe that Obama can beat Bachmann if Bachmann won the nomination. The media would never give favorable press to a Republican presidential candidate unless they knew he or she couldn't beat a Democratic President or candidate. I happened to notice that Chris told Maher that Bachmann could go all the way. He didn't say that she could go all the way and beat Obama, just that she could go all the way and win the nomination. What should be taken away from this is that, when liberals in the media start singing the praises of a Republican Presidential candidate, always remember the underlying reason why they are doing so.

I think Matthews so-called "praise" for Bachmann has nothing to do with Palin. Right now Mitt Romney is the front runner. I'm going to say this as it's my off the cuff belief; Mitt Romney is perhaps the only Republican that could beat President Obama.

With that being said, Matthews is attempting to assist in pulling the rug out from under Romney. He knows that many conservatives don't like Romney. Yet, that won't matter when it comes to the voters in the primaries.

Case in point. Even though Romney came into the CNN debate with a slight lead, did you notice how "no one" really went after him on his "Obamney care" and his past liberal stances? Pawlenty was literally given steel toe boots to stomp Romney over his health care legislation and he wimped out. Turns out Pawlenty hurt himself by not going on the attack. At this point in the race it doesn't appear as though the Republicans candidates are willing to attack Romney.

It would be a blessing to the Obama camp to run against Bachmann. Although Bachmann is a tad smarter than Palin, I still can see President Obama mopping the floor with her during a debate.

Romney is the front runner in the land of make believe allen. National polls about front runners mean nothing. Hillary was the front runner a week before the Iowa Caucus by 20 points over Obama, and look at what happened after Iowa. It comes down to the delegate count accumulation from the states, nothing more. Please tell me how Mittens may be the only candidate that might be able to beat Obama? Mittens couldn't even take out Huckabee when it counted. Romney is a bore, he doesn't have any charisma and he is seen as being in the same mold as McCain. Even with that being said, the 2012 election isn't about the who the GOP nominee is, it's about Obama's record.

p allen "With that being said, Matthews is attempting to assist in pulling the rug out from under Romney. He knows that many conservatives don't like Romney. Yet, that won't matter when it comes to the voters in the primaries. "

Oh geez, you really believe that? Let me guess, you believe the ABC/Washington Post poll showing Romney ahead of Obama? You said that Matthews know conservatives don't like Romney. You are right. With that said, why would Matthews try to give conservatives what they want "a conservative candidate", when he could just sit back and let conservative media pundits attack Mittens daily like they are doing now? So that theory has been shot down allen.

Of course none of them went after Romney. Every candidate wants to establish themselves first as the anti Obama candidate. With six month left until the Iowa Caucus, candidates know that there will be plenty for them to turn their fang around on Romney. Now is simply not the time and even T Pawl knew that. The main complaint by conservatives and even moderate republicans was that McCain handled Obama with kid gloves in not attacking him. The current crop of candidates have clearly learned from McCain's mistake.

CB:"Please tell me how Mittens may be the only candidate that might be able to beat Obama?".

Romney has an across the board (including with Independents) appeal. His former liberal views, combined with his present Republican status makes him the most formidable candidate if (and only if) the economy doesn't get any better.

Of course he'll get the votes from those who vote for those with an (R) behind their name. And as I said earlier, if the economy isn't better in November 2012, many Democrats might be a lot less than enthusiastic to go to the polls. Also Romney is the only Republican that can draw the Independent vote in the general election.

CB;"Of course none of them went after Romney. Every candidate wants to establish themselves first as the anti Obama candidate".

WOW! An "anti-Obama" Republican! You must be kidding. An anti-Obama Republican? That must be something brand new! Puuuh-leeeeze... Yeah right. This ain't American Idol, this is politics. The overriding objective in politics is to make the other guy look bad. When seeking the presidency you go after "whoever" is in your path.

Pawlenty was in a nationally televised "DEBATE" and was asked about his own assertions against Romney. There is absolutely no good reason why he wouldn't back up his own words. It's really puzzling to me. It makes me think that Pawlenty has something to hide. What it is, is anybody's guess.

Chris Matthews is either two-faced or he is demented.

This reminds me of the time when Obama was running for President, Jesse Jackson remarked that he wanted to castrate Obama for speaking down about absentee black fathers.
Months later, Jackson praises Obama for winning the Presidency.

You either for a person or against them. We can't seem to make up our minds whom we want to support.
