Obama's Greyhound One jobs bus was made with pride, just not in America.

What's more American then an American president riding on his jobs tour bus through the midwest talking about creating American jobs right? Well, let's talk about that bus for a minute. It's been dubbed "Greyhound One".

Obama's ride definitely suits him well. It's uninspiring and dreary looking. Some people have referred to it as a huge funeral hearse. Since so many people believe the jobs market is dead anyways, the look of Obama's ride might be appropriate after all. Anyways, with more then fourteen million people out of work, Americans can take pride in knowing that Obama's misery tour bus was manufactured NOT in the good ol U.S.A. Obama's motor coach was manufactured in CANADA!!!! So why did Barry give those jobs to the Canadians instead of Americans"? Another question that needs to be answered is "How can anyone be so stupid"?! For Obama to ride around the country talking about jobs in his Canadian built motor coach is as naive and clueless as say a person claiming to be an environmentalist owning and driving up to an environmental protest rally in a gas guzzling GMC Yukon SUV!!

He didn't, "the U.S. Secret Service decided to order two custom-made buses".

"President George W. Bush used a bus from the same manufacturer, Quebec-based Prevost, for a spring 2004 “Yes, America Can” campaign tour through the Midwest".

"The second bus will be used eventually by the Republican presidential nominee".

From The Los Angeles Times.

I would "throw this in your face", and scream "HYPOCRITE"!...

G.W. Bush campaigned using a bus from the same manufacturer.

John McCains Straight Talk Express bus was also a Canadian Prevost VIP H3-45 identical in size to the President's.

The jet the RNC used to transport Sarah Palin during the 08' campaign is Brazilian built.

but I won't, because I'm just not that type of guy...

P.S.- you see what a little research can do?

Ohhhh... Looky, looky what else I found!

It appears as though (say it ain't so Tyrone)...

The Obama "Hopey Changey" jet was an American built Boeing 757.

I'm going do some searches on the GOP candidates and see how, and what they're getting around in...

And the navy were the ones who hung the mission accomplished banner on the aircraft carrier alien. So what is your point. So you are saying that Obama couldn't even ask the Secret Service where the buses were being built? The bottom line is that it is still an embarrassment for him.

p allen ""President George W. Bush used a bus from the same manufacturer, Quebec-based Prevost, for a spring 2004 “Yes, America Can” campaign tour through the Midwest".

Good point, the bus should have been made in America. You can't compare Obama to Bush though. Bush at least had 5% full employment throughout his two terms, can Obama say that? Wnen jobs become plentiful, then we will compare the two.

p allen "I would "throw this in your face", and scream "HYPOCRITE"!... "

Throw away allen. First off Bush had near full employment throughout most of his presidency. Michelle Bachmann isn't president and neither is John McCain. So scream hypocrite as loud as you can, so it can fall on deaf ears allen. You fail to forget one simple thing allen. This is about Obama's jobs tour not Bachman's, not McCain's, not Bush's and not Palin. If Obama had the employment numbers Bush had, nobody would really care where the motor coaches were built.

Okay, I get it. The President can't ride in a foreign built vehicle, but a candidate for the office can? I can see from here on this presidential campaign is going to be one of the craziest ever...

You know something... I'd bet that there are GOP candidates just stupid enough to campaign in the same type of bus as the presidents, and attack the president while riding in one themselves. Can you say Michele Bachmann?

CB;"Bush at least had 5% full employment throughout his two terms, can Obama say that?".

I'm going to assume you meant "5% unemployment throughout his two terms." Even if that's what you meant, you didn't get that right either!

"Nonfarm payroll employment declined sharply in December, and the unemployment rate rose from 6.8 to 7.2 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today".
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

If you "average" the unemployment rate over the Bush years, it's actually is around 6%. However, the unemployment rate rose over the Bush years, topping off around 7%. By December 2008 the economy was literally bleeding jobs.

CB;"First off Bush had near full employment throughout most of his presidency".

According to THIS CHART when Bush took office in January 2001 the unemployment rate was 4.2%. When he left in January 09' the rate was 7.8%. The average is as I stated at around 6%.

If Bush had "near full employment", then Clinton "had full employment" starting in December 2000!

5% is statistically full employment allen duh, The unemployment rate under Bush did reach BELOW 5% many times. Here's something else I got right, Obama's unemployment numbers haven't come anywhere near percentages under Bush in over two and a half years. Did I get that part right at least? Read it and spin allen. This should be classic.
These are the stats from the Bureau of Labor Statistic from 2001-2010 Don't make yourself dizzy going around in a circle.
