Moveon.org shows how desperate they truly are to get Obama reelected.

The pitiful and pathetic overreach by the left for constantly labeling Republicans and conservatives as being racists without having any evidence of it being so has gotten way past old. It has become a long lasting running joke at this point. It dawned on me just how much people in general have tuned these whack jobs out, yet progressives haven't gotten the message, so they keep doubling on stupid and keep rerunning the same worn out script over and over and over an over and over again.  The George Sorros funded radical progressive organization Moveon.org has come out with a video trying desperately to create a revisionist historical timeline of the past four years in which the "republicans" stopped Obama from fixing the economy so that he can fail.

It's bad enough that the Obama campaign can't run on it's economic record. It's even worse when the progressive Super PAC's  which support Obama can't do it either. What the true believers don't get is that this absurd ad won't be seen by many people, and even the ones who do see it and actually believe it are going to be the Obama true believers who weren't going to vote for Romney in the first place. Is this really all the left can muster against Romney? If Obama and his supporters which includes the media don't have a smoking gun aka October surprise, they will be in trouble on election day. I thought the wacky ad about Romney killing a Steelworker's wife was funny and ridiculous, but this Moveon ad is right up there. There is no limitation in creativity, if you are insane and reality doesn't matter. Why lets the truth come out that Obama, Pelosi and Reid has full control for two years. The GOP didn't and couldn't stop any legislation from January of 2009 to January of 2011. Obamacare was passed, Obama's porkilus was passed, GM and Chrysler were bailed out and all his czars were put in place. For Moveon.org to openly try to deceive people just shows how little they respect people's intelligence.

Excellent video Tyrone...excellent!

CB;"The GOP didn't and couldn't stop any legislation from January of 2009 to January of 2011. Obamacare was passed, Obama's porkilus was passed, GM and Chrysler were bailed out".

Absolutely correct! And by the 4th quarter of 2009 U.S. economic growth had jumped 5.7 percent, the largest percentage growth since 2003. Whine and lie all you want about the Stimulus not working. There's far to much evidence that it did. General Motors and Chrysler are still around because of the bailouts. Both posted large profits last year. Can you honestly say that would have happened had the government not gave them the loans?

Unemployment has caused President Obama's his greatest woes. The steady and constant job losses in the "PUBLIC SECTOR" has contributed to the stagnant 8+ percent figures. Even though almost 2 million private sector jobs were added in 2011, state and local governments across the country continued to purge many tax payer supported jobs.

Move On has hit the nail on the head. Point by point, try giving a coherent answer to some very straight forward plain and simple questions;

1. In the midst of high unemployment, growing poverty, the country involved in 2 foreign wars, and economic uncertainty, should an elected official, a United States senator no less, have as his "NUMBER ONE PRIORITY" to make sure the sitting president is not re-elected? This was declared in October 2010 prior to the mid term elections. The republicans were then rewarded with a majority in congress which immediately set out to stop any efforts by the president to improve the countries economy and employment numbers.

2. Should the leader of a State House of Representatives (Mike Turzai (R) PA.) use a tactic of creating a law requiring voter I.D. to insure that his candidate wins in his state?

3. Should a political party use the same tactic, voter purges, and similar tactics to insure that their party wins?

As for the republicans in congress, either you're blind or lying about what actually is, and has been concurring since inauguration day. Republicans have systematically in lock step voted against every effort coming from the Obama White House. When the house majority changed from blue to red congress basically became useless.

The republicans have racked up a RECORD NUMBER OF FILIBUSTERS.

2. filibuster (n) a : the use of extreme dilatory tactics in an attempt to delay or prevent action especially in a legislative assembly

Why would the republicans in congress reject a timely vote to increase the debt ceiling when (something it's done routinely for decades) and they knew full well it would effect the credit rating of the country?

It's no wonder that Congress Approval Ties All-Time Low.

What a minute. Moveon.org said that Republicans were putting obstacles in the way to make sure Obama fail. So how come Republicans didn't stop the economy from growing in the fourth quarter of 2009 then? So what's the excuse, when the economy shows a breif sign of recovery, it's Obama who should get the credit, but when the economic indicators go negative, it's just because Republicans being obstructionists?

p allen "Whine and lie all you want about the Stimulus not working. There's far to much evidence that it did. General Motors and Chrysler are still around because of the bailouts. "

Funny you should mention GM, thank you for doing so. FYI: The UAW bailout wasn't apart of the porkilus by the way.

There are reports that GM COULD GO BANKRUPT AGAIN due to heavy losses in Europe, rapidly declining market share in the U.S and due it's stock record decline.

Will GM go bankrupt again

Here's a lesson in business and finance allen. As GM's stock continues it's free fall from it's post bankruptcy IPO,that will make it much harder for GM to raise cash from additional public offering of stock in the secondary market. Also according to Forbes.

"Right now, the federal government owns 500,000,000 shares of GM, or about 26% of the company. It would need to get about $53.00/share for these to break even on the bailout, but the stock closed at only $20.21/share on Tuesday. This left the government holding $10.1 billion worth of stock, and sitting on an unrealized loss of $16.4 billion."

So why don't Obama promote the fact that the bailout of GM has lost billions of dollars for the taxpayers, with the losses still mounting, and it could go bankrupt again allen, when he's on his auto bailout victory tour?

p allen "Both posted large profits last year. Can you honestly say that would have happened had the government not gave them the loans?"

GM's market share continues to erodes

Obama Government Motors can't even sell many cars even with incentives for people to buy them. I'm sure you were going to bring that up allen.

You also forgot to mention that the CEO of Government Motors had to APOLOGIZE TO INVESTORS for the fallen stock price. I invest in the market, and I have never ever experienced as an investor a situation in which a company I bought stock in which had 1. Increasing sales 2. Expanding profit margins 3. Low debt had it's stock rapidly decline in value.

It doesn't matter, because Obama's polices weren't designed to restart the private sector in the first place. For two years, Obama had full control, he decided to focuse on bailing out GM and Chrsyler, give money to the states to protect his municipal union friends, tried to get cap and trade passed along with card check along with Obamacare. He could have focused "like a laser beam" from day one on jobs, but he had other priorities. Here's question for you allen. Why hasn't Harry Reid passed a budget in the Senate in over 3 years?!! Is it politically motivated?

The fact is that Obama placed Obamacare over the economy and jobs

p allen "Should the leader of a State House of Representatives (Mike Turzai (R) PA.) use a tactic of creating a law requiring voter I.D. to insure that his candidate wins in his state"

hmm, does the proposed law only require democrats to have a state. ID allen? Personally, I don't see the problem. Funny how progressives claim that having voter ID laws is somehow racist or will disenfranchise voters.
Even in Mexico where much of the illegal aliens are coming from, even their country requires a photo ID to be presented in order to vote. So is the claim going to be that Mexico is racist also?

Mexio'a national voter IDs part of culture

I think we both know who benefits from having a lack of integrity in the voting process. Why would anyone be against voter rolls purged of dead people, felons, not real people, and people who shouldn't be able to vote according to election law?

CB;"What a minute. Moveon.org said that Republicans were putting obstacles in the way to make sure Obama fail".

Piss poor response Tyrone. You said President Obama had both house majorities. Up until January of 2011, the economic situation had shown clear signs of improvement. And as YOU pointed out- "The GOP didn't and couldn't stop any legislation from January of 2009 to January of 2011. Obamacare was passed, Obama's porkilus was passed, GM and Chrysler were bailed out". After the republicans took over congress, Mitch McConnell and his party set out to accomplish his "NUMBER ONE PRIORITY"-- to prevent the re-election of a president by systematically and purposefully obstructing any efforts by the president to help the economy.

CB;"There are reports that GM COULD GO BANKRUPT AGAIN due to heavy losses in Europe, rapidly declining market share in the U.S and due it's stock record decline".

Right wing voices of "gloom and doom." Do you even pay attention to what you're being told?? How does a company go "bankrupt" Tyrone? They'll have to not be able to pay their bills. So, as long as they have profit's to pay their bills, I wouldn't bet on the bankruptcy theory. As far as the Europeans losses, GM has already made moves to offset the Euro losses. Russia Growth may help.

But in all honesty, anything can happen in the future, so who knows. As long as the people running the company do what's best for the company, I believe they'll be just fine.

CB;'The fact is that Obama placed Obamacare over the economy and jobs'.

Oh my word... Tyrone, do I have to write instructions on the bottom of the bucket so you'll know how to dump the water out??? President Obama's first major legislative agenda was the STIMULUS!!! What's really puzzling is that, YOU SHOULD KNOW IT WAS!

Why do so many Republican voters (those who languish in little or no information) believe that the Affordable Care Act was law before the American Recovery Act (a.k.a. Stimulus)? Tyrone, the Stimulus was signed barely a month (Feb. 09) after President Obama took office. The economy, and saving jobs was the first thing on the presidents list. The ACA was signed more than a year later (March, 2010).

SO, HOW CAN IT BE "A FACT" THAT THE PRESIDENT PLACED OBAMA CARE OVER THE ECONOMY AND JOBS??? The only reason you could give, and the only way to "prove" such an ignorant assertion, is to show that Obama administration pushed for, passed and signed the ACA first!

If you want to get the piss out of the boot Tyrone, the instructions are on the heel....

I knew and had heard about the Lessadolla Sowers case. She got what she deserved for her crimes. However, she did not walk into a polling place and misrepresent herself. She voted by absentee ballot for each case she was found guilty of. Yet it appears that Mississippi hasn't done anything to prevent absentee ballot voter fraud. Why not?

Overall, voter fraud is not a major problem in the U.S. The "FACT" is far more people will be affected an unable to vote under these new voter I.D. laws, than actual number of voter fraud occurrences. This article is from a Pennsylvania newspaper reporting on the effects of their brand new voted I.D. law that the republicans put in place to insure Mitt Romney a win in their state.

PolitiFact did some research and found that in Florida, shark attacks were more common than voter fraud. There are 11,401,072 registered voters in Florida. It's safe to say that more than double that number frequent Florida's beaches and waters. So, wouldn't it make sense (at least to save human life and limb) to have some sort of "requirement" to swim in Florida waters?

p allen"Piss poor response Tyrone. You said President Obama had both house majorities. Up until January of 2011, the economic situation had shown clear signs of improvement. "

If the economy was improving since 2009, this is now 2012, why can't Obama nor his supporters run on his economic record of an"improved economy"? If the economy has truly improved as you said, Then the GOP must have failed then in stopping him right? So what is Moveon talking about?

p allen "And as YOU pointed out- "The GOP didn't and couldn't stop any legislation from January of 2009 to January of 2011. Obamacare was passed, Obama's porkilus was passed, GM and Chrysler were bailed out"."

Yeah, the Moveon ad kind of left that part out now didn't they? Can't have it both ways. Obama's key legislation was passed.

P allen "After the republicans took over congress, Mitch McConnell and his party set out to accomplish his "NUMBER ONE PRIORITY"-- to prevent the re-election of a president by systematically and purposefully obstructing any efforts by the president to help the economy."

How can Mitchell McConnell stop any legislation in the senate when the Republicans are still the minority party. The only way they can stop a bill in the Senate is for DEMOCRATS to defect and join them in voting or not voting for a piece of legislation. How can Obama have all these policy victories but he refuses to run on them?

p allen "
Right wing voices of "gloom and doom." Do you even pay attention to what you're being told??

Let me help you with the facts yea again.

1. GM still owes billions to tax payers
2. GM has mounting losses in Europe
3. GM's market share in the U.S is erroding
4. GM still has tens of billions of dollars in liabilities on it's balance sheet
5. The Chevy Volt which was suppose to have been the future of GM has been a failure.
6. GM's stock price decline will make it harder for them to raise additional working capital in the markets through additional stock offering.

I can't help it that you refuse to see the facts as they are. You can call them "right wing fear", the rest of use will simply call it reality as it is. Also the sources that I posted weren't right wing affiliated. They were financial and auto trade industry news. Try again allen.

p allen "How does a company go "bankrupt" Tyrone? They'll have to not be able to pay their bills. So, as long as they have profit's to pay their bills, I wouldn't bet on the bankruptcy theory. A company can go bankrupt over declining sales, weak profit margins, increased debt that a company can't pay on, being cut off from the credit markets in not being able to obtain working capital for day by day operations etc. Why do you think that GM's stock price is no where near where it's IPO price was allen? Is it because everything is going great at GM?

P Allen "Oh my word... Tyrone, do I have to write instructions on the bottom of the bucket so you'll know how to dump the water out??? President Obama's first major legislative agenda was the STIMULUS!!! What's really puzzling is that, YOU SHOULD KNOW IT WAS! "

Tell me how the porkilus stimulated the private sector. Tell me how it helped small businesses. Why haven't small business been singing the praises of the porkilus if it helped them. Over a trillion dollars in porkilus spending yet the Gross Domestic Product which is the major indicator of economic growth is averaging a very week 1.5% in the last quarter. Got another rabbit to pull out the hat?

Wasn't it you guys back in 2000 over Florida who were crying about "every vote should count" ? Well shouldn't all the legal votes be counted and not diluted by fraudulent votes no matter how many or few? Why is it that you all have such a problem with a voting system that has integrity to it? Besides, if it's good enough for Mexico, then it should be good enough for us. I see you didn't say anything about the member of the NAACP being convicted for voter fraud in Mississippi. Maybe it was an isolated shark attack.

One last time Tyrone. Both the house and the senate have to pass any proposed legislation before it goes to the president. It's as you said. The president got what he wanted passed when Democrats held "BOTH" and by the 4th quarter of 2009 U.S. economic growth had jumped 5.7 percent. When the republicans to control of the house in 2011, the obstruction began in the house, while the senate racked up a record number of filibusterers.

I see, yet again, that you don't read through what I write unless it peaks your interests. For the most part you seem to gloss over my post's looking for "keywords" like;
racist, white people, muslim, President Obama and the words successful or good job appearing in the same sentence, so that you can unleash your pre-written instructed talking points.

You are talking in circles allen. The GOP has jobs bills that Harry Reid said that they would be dead on arrival if they reached the Senate. It's the same Harry Reid controlled Senate that won't pass a budget and hasn't in 3 years. Again, you make this way too easy for me allen.

Reid blocks attempt by McConnell to vote on president's jobs bills

p allen " the obstruction began in the house, while the senate racked up a record number of filibusterers. "

Odd how the Democrats didn't favor filibuster reform until after the 2010 midterms. I will say it one last time. Obama could have focused his first two years on nothing by pro private sector job creation legislation, he chose not to. The number one issue during the 2008 election was the economy. He blew his political capital on other issues that were more important. He could have extended the olive branch to the GOP during his first two years, but he didn't.
