Marilyn Mosby's inexperience might teach her a very tough leason pretty soon.

The protesters cheered last week as Baltimore City States Attorney Marilyn Mosby laid down the hammer on the six Baltimore Police Officers who she charged in the death of the West Baltimore heroine dealer Freddie Gray.

Well those who celebrated directly after her announcement might not feel like celebrating in a few months "if" these case ever goes to trial. The news from the legal community both here locally and nationally towards Ms Mosby's charges were stinging with some even claiming she was incompetent in the particular charges she gave to the officers. Former Baltimore Deputy State's Attorney Page Croyder ripped into Ms Mosby over the charges.

I do not know if Ms Mosby has political ambition beyond her current role as the youngest States Attorney in Maryland history but if she does and these charges reflected that, she may have just committed political suicide if she can't deliver the red meat being the six police officers to the blood thirsty mob. I have yet to come across any legal experts that have said that Marilyn Mosby properly charged the six officers. There are so many issues at play with this case and none of them bold well for Ms Mosby. There is already talk of a conflict of interest, because the Attorney for the Gray family Billy Murphy gave a sizable donation to Mosby's campaign last year. I believe the issue with the Baltimore Police van that transported Freddie Gray may be the single biggest obstacle that Marilyn Mosby may not be able to overcome, If her prosecution hinges on her believing that the BPD officers broke police rules in not securing Freddie Gray. Number one, it will be nearly impossible for her to prove that any of the officers acted in a malicious intend in not securing Mr Gray.

Second, the BPD only recently as in 4 days prior to the death of Freddie Gray created the new policy stating that suspects in transit in police vans or paddy wagons must be secured. If the officers didn't know about that  rule, how can she prove they knowingly broke it?  There are other factors at work also; Whether she was playing social justice advocate who was grandstanding to the protesters, a woman trying to boast her political ambitions or a person who was simply trying to defuse the protesters and rioters due to the city losing money over the curfew, it will be interesting if she can back up her tough talk.

In front of thousands, Marilyn Mosby, along with her husband Councilman Nick Mosby, sat on the stage during the entire Prince Concert and “Justice For Freddie Gray” Rally. I remember the day when lawyers, both defense and prosecuting, would avoid any public appearance of conflict of interest.

Instead of my speculations I'll present you with these questions.
ACM,does the future of Baltimore hinge on this case?
And if so, how did the people of Baltimore allow this child to put them in this precarious position?

As a lawyer, Marylin Mosby should know the difference between involuntary manslaughter and murder. I don't think the cops intention was to hurt Freddie Gray, but to charge them with murder is outrageous. If she charged them for murder just to appease the crowd, it just shows how much of a coward she is for not sticking up against lawless citizens and not helping those who were affected by the riots.

I wonder if Marylin Mosby will show signs of responsibility and not kissing the butts of these hooligans and to charge a group of about 50 black teenagers for attempted murder of a white man? So far, about a couple of these teens were charged as adults.

According to the story, 61-year-old Richard Fletcher, who went outside his Baltimore home to confront a couple of girls who were fighting on top of his truck. Next thing was, he was attacked and beaten to near-death. He had head injury and broken eye sockets from both eyes. According to his medical bill, he accumulated up to $200,000-$400,000, which his insurance would not cover. To raise and to pay the rest of the medical costs, the Baltimore neighborhood association posted a GoFundMe page.

When the acquittals come down, maybe Ms Mosby should stand in front of the thin Blue line when the RIOT starts back up.

What also stood out in the ultra conflict of interest is, when she not only attended the Freddie Gray concert that was put on by Prince but she even got up on stage with him! I don't know whether she is just wet behind the ears in not knowing how a States Attorney is suppose to conduct themselves or is she really just a social activist disguised as a States Attorney? For defense and prosecutors to be almost unanimously coming down harshly how Marily Mosby's actions and job performance in trying to case is very telling.

Personally I think the irreversible damage has been done to the city. It will be interesting to see how the tourist and convention business holds up over the next 12 months. It's bad enough that some people's impression of Baltimore is based of the television shows Homicide Life on the Streets and The Wire. The Riots definitely didn't help to shake that impression that Baltimore is like that. If the Officers get off, who knows what will happen. If the protesters actually act civilized, it may just help in the image of the city. Like I said or I think I said. I believe the out of the blue charging of the police officers had at least part to do with the upcoming Preakness and city officials not wanting the Preakness to be a potential disaster with the protesters still emotionally half cocked and wanting to invade and cause a national scene there.

At the very least, Marilyn Mosby should be fire for either using her public office to promote her personal soical agenda or at the very least she should be fired for utter gross incompetence in her job performance. The rioters shouldn't attack her even if she loses. They will merely overlook her and simply blame "the system" as too why the officers were acquitted if it happens. If the riots do start back up, I could only hope that it starts at Mayor Stephaine Rawling Blake's Baltimore County house.

These charges just proveS her rush to judgement and not going through the proper process of reviewing the facts so that the proper charges could be filed. For her to admit that she was conducting her own independent investigation only to came to the conclusion she did based on the charges she rendered onto the officers is strikingly stupid. I wonder if she is just hoping that she can just throw the charges on a wall and hope that an activist jury will make them stick? That also could be her plan, facts be dammed.

The unintentional consequences if the officers are convicted is that that could lead to Baltimore City Police Officers leaving the Baltimore Police and trying to transfer to other police departments in the state. I couldn't blame them if they did or for that matter are trying to do so now. The cops have to worry about social activists on the city council, in the position of Mayor, the media, protesters on one side, then they also have to worry about the criminals, gangs and thugs on the other side wanting to kill them. It's a no win situation in being a Baltimore City Police Officer.
